14 case studies by Ahmad Habbab
Most of them shipped. Harmony is in development, and a few were concepts or never published. Filter by type, hover a row to see a real screen, click to read the story.
Abha Chamber: a bilingual platform
Design system · Mobile · Web · Chamber of commerce · Saudi Arabia · 2025
The Abha Chamber of Commerce offers investment advice, training, arbitration and research, but members couldn't reach any of it from a phone, and staff tracked requests without proper tools. We designed a member app and a staff back-office on one shared design system.
Afko: internal back-office
Product · Enterprise · Agriculture · Food production · 2024
Afko grows and trades farm goods, and its numbers lived in people's heads and in spreadsheets. I designed its internal back-office: where managers check the money, and where one admin decides who gets to see it.
Flex Delivery: on-demand delivery app
Product · Mobile · Delivery · On-demand delivery · Syria · 2025
Most shops in Syria aren't online, so a delivery app built on menus and a cart would open empty. Flex works the other way round: you type or say what you need, and drivers reply with offers. I designed the flow, the design system and every screen.
Ibn Al-Nafis: herbal apothecary website
Web · E-commerce · Herbal apothecary · Retail · 2025
Ibn Al-Nafis Herbs has weighed herbs by hand in Riyadh since 1948, and most herbal websites look nothing like that. The earlier version of its online store, which I designed, is live. This redesign, which I led with a designer who drew most of the screens, hasn't shipped yet.
Co.Payment: a wallet for two currencies
Product · Mobile · Fintech · Payments · Syria · 2025
In Syria people price things in dollars and pay in pounds, at a rate that changes every day. Co.Payment is a mobile wallet built around that, and I designed the full iOS app on a freelance contract. It hasn't been published.
FBSU: university learning platform
Learning Platform · Higher Education · Higher Education · 2024
A university wanted to sell and teach its diplomas online and had nothing to start from: no platform, no design system, no visual identity. I designed it from the logo to the lesson view.
OASIS: a mall super-app
Product · Mobile · Web · Marketplace · Retail · malls · MENA · 2023–2024
Shoppers inside a mall need a different tool from shoppers at home. OASIS, a startup concept, tried to be both: a companion app for inside the mall and a web marketplace for outside it. Three of us designed it, in English and Arabic.
CVT: portfolio & résumé builder
Product · Web app · Design system · Careers · MENA · 2021
Job-seekers send a Word CV, a Behance link and a cover letter separately, and the three never quite agree. I designed CVT to keep all of them in one account behind one public link: about 29 screens, in 2021.
Lit: creative agency website
Web · Marketing site · Creative agency · 2023
Seven services on one long page read like a price list, and Lit, a creative agency, had no case studies yet to prove its taste. I designed the site and its system, then built it in Framer myself. It was never published.
TwinWin: buy-one-get-one network
Product · Web · Mobile · Food & hospitality · 2024
Members of a buy-one-get-one scheme feel the value straight away. The restaurants, cafés, salons and hotels giving the deal don't, and each one that leaves makes the membership worth less. As a freelancer I designed TwinWin's merchant portal and public website, and refined its member app, which was already designed.
Zed Order: Arabic food-ordering app
Product · Mobile · Food delivery · Food delivery · Syria · 2025
Food-ordering templates send SMS codes that often don't arrive in Syria, and they assume one currency. I designed Zed Order for a Damascus restaurant with WhatsApp sign-in and both currencies built in. It's live, and now licensed as a template to other restaurants.
Zoumorod: a gold-trade platform
Product · Web · Tablet · Mobile · Gold & jewelry retail · MENA · 2024–2025
A jeweller prices every piece by karat, weight, making charge and the day's gold rate, often across two currencies. Zoumorod already handled that, with a back-office for jewellers and a 'Gold Market' app for customers, but its screens were dense and inconsistent. I redesigned both to work on desktop, tablet and phone.
SOS: SEC's industrial-security system
Enterprise · Design system · Energy · Government · 2025
Security staff at Saudi Electricity Company power stations use SOS to issue gate permits, check entry logs and give inspectors access. It ran on stock Material Design, and each module looked as if a different person had made it. I redesigned modules of it and turned the Material base into a system that looks like SEC.
Harmony: teleradiology operations platform
Product · Design system · Healthcare · Healthcare · Teleradiology · 2026
A hospital sends a scan, a coordinator routes it, a radiologist reports, a reviewer checks and an accountant settles the fees. Harmony runs all of it. I designed its design system and the product from April to September 2026; it was still in development when I left.
