About Ahmad Habbab
Studied structures, chose screens.
An engineering degree, then a design career. I’m Ahmad Habbab, a senior UI/UX designer in Aleppo. I paid for university with freelance design, and it became the job. These days I design enterprise systems, dashboards and the design systems behind them. I work freelance, and I’m open to a full-time role.

The honest version.
There was no straight line from engineering to design. This is the real route, detours included.
Growing up: Tech came first
Computers and programming had my attention long before design did. I was the one friends asked when something with tech went wrong.
2018: Civil engineering
Aleppo University. Six years of structures, materials and calculations checked by hand before anything gets built.
2020: Design paid for university
I needed to earn while I studied, so a friend taught me freelance graphic design. My first client came in April 2020.
The detours: Things that didn’t stick
I started a YouTube channel and a Facebook page, and let both go. I tried 3D and motion too, before I found where I fit.
The door: UI/UX
It sat right between the two things I loved, programming and graphics. I walked in and stayed.
2024: Graduated
I finished the degree with four years of client work behind me and went straight into design. I never worked on a site.
